Yellow 6 (Sunset Yellow FCF, E110) is the third most commonly used artificial food dye in the US, giving products an orange-yellow hue. Found in cheese-flavored snacks, candy, baked goods, and cereals, it has been linked to hyperactivity in children and allergic reactions. The FDA is phasing it out by the end of 2027.
